More than 100 people from around the world voted in our Photo Captions Contest last week. I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to vote on our captions and share with you the winning captions.
Congratulations to the students whose captions were chosen!

I’ve had several requests for extra copies of the Suggested Clothing List for Camp Caritas. I really should have thought that through when putting together the packets of forms for everyone to fill out. So, I’ve attached the clothing list to the seventh grade website and I’ll also include a direct link here:
If there are any other forms you’d like a copy of, or if you have other Caritas-related questions, please let me know.

Attention Science Fans! Are you ready to go into outer space? Well, I may not be able to help you with that, but the folks at YouTube might be able to at least send one of your science experiments into space. You can find more information here: Coming to a Universe Near You.

In order to share with my students the number of people (and where they’re from) that voted in our Photo Captions Contest, I created a Google Map with a pin for each of the responders. I can’t wait to share this with my students!

Recently, my seventh graders were asked to write one caption for each of the seven photos in the Google Presentation below. I explained to my students that I would select five captions for each photo and then ask people to vote for their favorites. We hope you’ll take a moment and vote for your favorites in the Google Form located below the photos.
Thank you!
