We love Google Doodles in seventh grade! You will each be creating your own Doodles at some point this year, so I’ll try to share a few of Google’s own Doodles with you so you get used to the idea.
Today’s Google home page is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Buckyball.
25th Anniversary of the Buckyball
I just had to share this one with all of my students who love science! The question is…do you know what a buckyball is? Check out this Wikipedia page.
Well, my friends, my lovelies, voting has begun in the Doodle4Google contest, and, I’m sorry to report, that no one from our school was selected to participate. However, everyone can participate in this next phase of the contest. It’s time to vote! Simply go to the Doodle4Google voting page and select your favorite Doodle from each region. I’ll warn you…it is definitely NOT easy!!!
I want you all to know how proud I am of you for giving such wonderful effort to this project and for creating some pretty amazing artwork! You should all be very proud of yourselves!

There are just too many fabulous artists in my seventh grade class! I need help choosing the top five Google Doodles…I can’t even narrow it down to a top ten! Can you help me? You can view our Camp Caritas Google Doodles (plus one extra special Doodle) in the slideshow on my PBWorks page (WordPress doesn’t currently allow the embedding of Google docs). Assuming you are able to make a decision, please vote in the poll on that same page. You can choose your two favorite Doodles. Please only vote once.
I really appreciate the help!
